I have a little love-on for Karly Randolph Pitman, in case you hadn't noticed. I read her site regularly and she generously allows me to republish her work here.
Thsi week, she's encouraging conversations among women. So often, women are not encouraged to speak honestly and talk about themselves. We pretty-up our birth stories, we minimize our hurt, we try to make life look effortless. No one's life is effortless. Talking about our struggles, and openly celebrating our successes, does service not only to ourselves, but to those who hear us. Read up on Karly's thoughts . Check out her links (thanks for linking here, K!). Be brave and start a conversation. |
