May 30 - Puzzlin' Wednesday

By Jodi M. Webb

It's Wednesday - time to fire up your brain to get you over the hump and into the weekend.  Try out today's puzzle!

How did you do with last week’s doublets? If you’ve given up and you need some answers you can find them here.

Word squares are made up words that read the same horizontally and vertically—the first word horizontally and the first word vertically are the same. Here’s an example with numbers to help you identify the words.

Next time, we’ll try some that fill in a few letters but don’t give you any clues.

Stop by on Friday when I confess my big reading secret.

About the author:
Jodi has been leading the crazy life of a writer for over a decade--along the way she's had a 6 foot tall ostrich try to eat her camera bag, rode in a medieval cart built by high school students, and held a super-sized gold chain recovered from a shipwreck. Unfortunately the gold chain wouldn't fit in her camera bag or she'd be writing to you from a villa in Italy--not Pennsylvania. When not writing she spends her time reading mysteries and World War II histories and baking cookies.

She's also working on her first book, a mystery that reaches back into World War II for a motive.
